Thank you to all who have sent well wishes.
It is amazing how fast your life can change in a matter of hours. Wednesday morning around four I awoke with a leg cramp and bounced to my feet trying to break it free. I very shortly lost all my motor skills and found myself headed to the ground. Stopped myself by grabbing a door jam. I can’t explain in words just how weird it is to have your body ignore your thoughts. All I can say is it is super weird like being on the Finnish Fling except it never stops.
Leisa drove me to the ER as her recent training told her I was having all of the symptoms of a stroke. The hospital said I had all of the symptoms of a brain stem stroke except that my speech wasn’t impaired. After a CT scan and two MRIs it has been determined that I have vertigo. I have been getting better every hour. Hard to walk yesterday, but better today. Haven’t thrown up at all today either, which is good as my stomach muscle ache from hurling yesterday. Hope to be back to my irritating self soon!
